Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability have been at the core of our business operations since the company’s inception in 1994. This latest report on our recent corporate responsibility activities and commitments, both locally and globally, shares the pillars of our plan and the results of our actions. It’s been a team effort, involving the enthusiastic participation and leadership of many people on our team who have embraced this spirit of responsibility.
The concept of the triple bottom line (the success of our company, our team members, and our community) has always guided our thinking and the records show our company has done well by doing right. In 2016, for example, Environics Communications was named the #6 best workplace for women in Canada and #13 workplace overall. In 2014, Environics Communications also received IABC Toronto’s philanthropy award for the firm’s numerous charitable initiatives. Despite economic and business pressures, our commitment to upholding our values and investing in our staff and community will always remain a priority.
