Every year, we offer all staff members one paid day to make personal contributions to causes that matter to them by volunteering with a registered charity. Proofers are encouraged to share their experiences in our monthly internal newsletter to share new charitable initiatives with the Proof community and feel encouraged to be more active in their communities. Past charity days have included Swim Drink Fish Canada, Habitat for Humanity, Dress for Success and Save our Scruff. In addition to our annual volunteer days, our senior leaders share their knowledge and skills outside of Proof Strategies for causes and organizations that are close to them. Some of these causes and organizations include the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Public Relations without Borders, Travers Debates and Ryerson University’s Social Venture Zone.
Mental Wellness & Benefits
Proof Strategies believes that the health and safety of its team members are our top priority. Our benefits plans cover psychological treatment by counsellors, therapists, social workers, and psychologists. Through our benefits provider, Proofers also have access to workplace solutions for mental health and a confidential employee assistance program that provides counselling, coaching support services and online resources. In addition, we bring in expert guest speakers who cover topics such as mindfulness and workplace strategies for mental health.
After five years, Proofers receive a trip to anywhere in the world for their first Curiosity & Discovery Trip. Once you have been with Proof Strategies for eight years, you are given an Explore Your Country Discovery Trip, where you can travel anywhere in the country they work. Our ten-year reward is focused around three themes: Live, Learn and Love. Every Proofer to reach the decade mark will be rewarded with funds to live their passion, broaden their mind through learning, and to donate to a charity of their choice. Proofers who grow with us for 15, 20 and 25 years are rewarded with Curiosity & Discovery Trips to the destination of their choice.
