Former Member of Parliament joins Proof Strategies’ Government Relations team
OTTAWA, April 6, 2022 –Proof Strategies is continuing to expand its growing government relations team with the addition of Matthew Dubé, a bilingual, former two-term MP for the Beloeil-Chambly region of Québec.
Matthew Dubé joins as a Senior Associate on the Government Relations (GR) team and follows recent client wins and team additions. From 2011 to 2019, Matthew held key NDP caucus roles as an MP, including acting as an official critic for Public Safety, Infrastructure and Youth & Sports. He was selected by his fellow MPs to serve as NDP Caucus Chair and as Deputy House Leader.
Based in Ottawa, Matthew brings his reputation as a collegial consensus builder with him to Proof, promising to work as hard for his colleagues and clients as he did for his constituents. Along with his government background, Matthew most recently held the role of Senior Manager for Movember, responsible for the charity’s presence and partnerships in Québec.
