Returns, Renewal and Recognition: Deepened Cross-Industry Capabilities with Five Key Appointments

TORONTO, October 26, 2021 – Proof Strategies, the largest wholly Canadian owned public relations and communications firm, announced five key senior appointments in Toronto today.

David Gollom has been promoted to Senior Vice President on the Corporate & Financial practice. Gollom has emerged as a leader with a focus on building diverse and empathetic teams during his time at Proof Strategies. With deep expertise in the financial and professional services industries, David secured sizable recent wins for the firm in this space. David will be responsible for leading the firm’s corporate communications and reputation management offerings across multiple sectors. He will co-lead the practice with Proof Strategies veteran Melody Gaukel.

Michelle Titus has been named Vice President on the Corporate & Financial practice. Titus’ seven-year tenure at the firm has been marked by key new business wins and further expansion into agriculture, travel and regulatory sectors. Her recent work at Proof Strategies includes the conception and execution of integrated communications campaigns with a focus on public relations, stakeholder relations, influencer relations and digital strategy – and always with a relentless focus on measurement to ensure programs support overall organizational objectives.

Genevieve Tomney returns to Proof Strategies as Vice President, Public Affairs. Her new role will tap into her strengths in strategic thinking, storytelling and working with organizations with activities that intersect with the public interest. Genevieve is an experienced communicator with 15+ years working in senior roles within government, public sector, media and both public and private corporations. Her early days in journalism, later experience at the centre of government, complemented by private sector investor expertise, give her strong credentials for any client challenge.

Melinda (Lindy) Frank DeFazio joined Proof Strategies as Senior Director, Strategy. With more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience, Lindy is a creative strategist with passion for problem solving and a knack for storytelling. Her brand building efforts have supported companies like Google, Best Buy, Bumble and Nespresso and garnered national and international acclaim. Lindy’s insight and expertise will help deliver Proof’s signature audience-first, strategy-led solutions for clients in a measurable and data-driven way.

Tiffany Limgenco returns to Proof Strategies as Account Director, Health & Wellness. Her experience in the prescription drug, consumer health, and health technology environments has allowed her to lead integrated communication programs involving public education, stakeholder engagement, executive visibility, and issues management. Tiffany has successfully managed a variety of programs including the launch of a rapid antigen test for COVID-19, navigation of a digital health privacy investigation, and creation of a peer-to-peer patient engagement program for the rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis communities.
