Maurice Rioux
Maurice Rioux has extensive knowledge of the Canadian political and policy process, having served four Ministers in six federal Departments (including as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Canadian Heritage). As well, Maurice has worked in government at the federal and provincial levels and in opposition at the federal level.
Maurice has a strong background in intergovernmental affairs, having served as the Province of New Brunswick’s Senior Representative in Ottawa.
As well as political experience Maurice has a wide-ranging background in stakeholder relations, having worked for organizations such as the Canadian Medical Association and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority.
Maurice began his career as a journalist, working for the weekly Le Voilier/ Le Point in New Brunswick. Fluent in French and English, he graduated from the Université de Moncton with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
